As the calendar turns, we often rush to reinvent ourselves. But 2026, for us at Her Circle, is less about dramatic resolutions and more about intentional continuity. About recognising what truly sustained us through 2025 and choosing to carry that forward with clarity, kindness, and courage. From self-acceptance and gratitude to three-litre water bottles and storytelling rooted in lived experiences, these are the values and intentions the Her Circle team is stepping into the new year with—unfiltered, deeply personal, and unapologetically our own!

'Firstly, the year 2025 gave me the biggest realisation about how to remain true to myself! As I say this, it means that I accept myself with all the flaws and shortcomings that I feel I may have, and I own them like a queen. After all, self-acceptance (just the way you are) is the key to every progress in life. Additionally, I will never disregard myself at any point going forward, even if I make mistakes, poor decisions, or judgments. I want to continue to improve and move forward without being too harsh on myself. I want to usher in the New Year being gentler on myself.
Secondly, never letting any form of fear get the better of me under any situation. I shall continue to do my inner work and develop a self that’s undeterred and unshaken no matter what.'

'I’m carrying active hydration with me into 2026! The goal is to consciously drink at least three litres of water every day. I’ve already gotten a huge bottle for myself. I’ll be honest, I’m quite excited to have glowing skin in the New Year.'
Iona Chatterjee
'I’m carrying forward the commitment to narrate stories rooted in lived experiences. From creating safe spaces where women are seen, heard and represented, to choosing meaning with every story I get to share through my work, the intent is to stay true to real women and real voices. Knowing why I do what I do continues to guide me as I move into 2026.

'I’m hoping to bring in some gratitude with me in 2026. I intend to maintain a daily gratitude journal to focus on the good things and positivity, in general.'

'I’m choosing to keep my so-called ‘foolish’ instinct of trusting people, not because I enjoy getting duped. But because I don’t want to be the sad, always on my guard person, slowly turning into ‘Byomkesh Bakshi’. Trust is liberating.'
Prachi
‘Live and let live!’
'In 2026, I’m choosing live and let live. I intend on following this mantra both in how I exist and how I tell stories. I’m letting go of the urge to judge, label, or explain women’s choices, including my own. Not every life decision needs commentary, and not every story needs a moral.'
Sonali Valecha

'I want to go into 2026 with a curiosity for the crafts. I aim to meet, touch and feel at least two textile crafts that are lesser known from different parts of the country (or maybe even one from another country). I’m most excited about the sartorial heritage of the places I visit, and that’s something that keeps me creatively alive.'
That’s from Team Her Circle. What are you bringing with you into the New Year?
