1. Dysmenorrhea (Painful Periods)
While mild period pain or backache is common, some women experience very intense cramps during their periods, making it hard to go about their day. This condition is called dysmenorrhea.
2. Ovarian Cysts
These are fluid-filled sacs that form in or around the ovaries. Most women don’t even know they have them, and many times they go away on their own. However, in some cases, they can cause pain or hormonal issues.
3. Endometriosis
This condition occurs when the tissue that normally lines the uterus starts growing outside it – like on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, or even the bladder. It can be quite painful and might cause problems like severe cramps, pain during sex, bleeding between periods, or digestive troubles.

PCOD is very common among Indian women, especially in urban areas. Here, the ovaries produce many small cysts instead of releasing eggs regularly. This affects periods, can make it harder to get pregnant, and may also lead to weight gain, acne, mood swings, and even depression.
5. Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
UTIs are infections caused by bacteria entering the urinary tract. Common causes include poor toilet hygiene, holding in urine for too long, pregnancy, or frequent sexual activity. Symptoms include a burning feeling while peeing, lower belly pain, needing to pee often, and sometimes discomfort during sex.
