The second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic has left the country in a humanitarian and medical supply crisis. While social media has started to prove as a major contributor to COVID relief, many homegrown brands are also doing their bit to help save lives and facilitate medical and other aid. Here are a few brands that are helping you shop for a cause.
1. Ekadi

This homegrown label that makes minimal handcrafted clothing has pledged to donate 20 per cent of their online sale proceeds starting from May 5 to May 15 to helping those affected by the pandemic in India. The brand is supporting the Hemkunt Foundation, which is a non-profit helping COVID-19 patients with supply of oxygen cylinders in the country. The label is also supporting their karigars or artisans with housing and COVID-19 related awareness, making sure they stay in and stay safe during the lockdown.
2. Love Letter

This sustainable jewellery brand that uses recycled plastic and glass for its quirky and fun pieces has pledged to donate 50 per cent of all sales for a whole month (20th April to 20th May) to Hemkunt Foundation to provide oxygen supply support to those in need.
3. Zohra

Zohra creates contemporary handcrafted jewellery and will be donating 100 per cent of sales proceeds from their website till May 7 to Hemkunt Foundation and Feeding India. While Hemkunt Foundation focuses on providing oxygen to COVID-19 patients, Feeding India provides food supply and meals to those in need.
4. AA Living

One of the most aesthetic home decor brands in the lifestyle space, AA Living has pledged to donate 100 per cent of the proceeds from their bestselling AA Living evil eye cushion to COVID relief charities in India. All proceeds from sales in the month of May will be donated.
5. Art For India

Art For India is a recently launched initiative supporting Delhi-based Mission Oxygen to help raise funds for importing Oxygen Concentrators & donating them to hospitals. Art For India is helping raise money by selling art prints by Kalpesh Lathigra, Robbie Lawrence and many more photographers till May 9.
6. Leather Garden

Handbag label Leather Garden has curated a collection of their bags, 100 per cent of whose sales proceeds will go to Hemkunt Foundation for their free oxygen cylinder drive, as well as to Delhi-based non-profit Wishes and Blessings to contribute to their daily meal programme to feed those in need.
7. Slow Studio

Jewellery brand Slow Studio is donating 50 per cent of direct sales till May 6 to help Hemkunt Foundation in its attempts to provide free oxygen cylinders to COVID-19 patients in need. The brand has a range of gold-plated jewellery pieces to choose from and you can shop with them through their Instagram page.
8. SWGT

Clothing label SWGT aces its contemporary designs with indigenous techniques and eclectic aesthetic. The brand is holding a sale till May 10 to raise funds for non-profits Hemkunt and Food For The Hungry Foundation to help cope with the ongoing oxygen crisis and meals for those in need. The label will be donating 50 per cent of its sales proceeds.

The brand has curated a COVID relief collection, all sales proceeds of which will be donated to Hemkunt Foundation and Mission Oxygen to bridge the lack of oxygen supply, and to Khaana Chahiye and Make Luv Not Scars for COVID relief supply.
10. Dyelogue

Dyelogue specialises in the intricate Kutch craft of Bandhani for modern and contemporary designs. The brand is supporting Manav Sadhna to help with the oxygen supply crisis in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The label will be donating 30 per cent of all of its sales proceeds till May 9 to the non-profit organisation.
11. Khara Kapaas

Homegrown clothing label Khara Kapaas has curated a collection of its eclectic, handcrafted designs in order to raise COVID relief funds. The pieces in the collection are at 15 per cent off and 100 per cent of their profits from said sales will be donated to Hemkunt Foundation for their free oxygen cylinder dive.
