For Elsie Gabriel, and Environmental Activist and Founder of the Young Environmentalists Programme Trust, sustainability starts with something as simple as looking at your own actions and making the right choices—like buying less and reusing or repurposing possessions instead of throwing them out to fill our landfills. But, as a Certified Deep Sea Diver who has researched 23 oceanic habitats around the world, Gabriel’s actions to save the climate and the planet extend beyond lands and delves deep into the oceans and water bodies she aims to protect, conserve and save for the coming generations. Gabriel is also the Ambassador for Indian Ocean Quest, National Coordinator of the Oceans Climate Reality Project, India, Co-Founder of Ocean School, and a Member of #Women4Climate and the Maharashtra Climate Action Plan.
