Use A Clothes Stand
First things first, get your hands on an indoor clothing stand. This is great if you will be drying your clothes indoor. Not only does it help dry your clothes faster, it also means you won’t end up with clothes drying all over your furniture!
Allow Air Into The Room
With rain coming often unannounced, it’s almost impossible to dry your clothes outdoors. That said, when drying clothes indoors, make sure you let fresh air into the room. This will help ventilation and will prevent any moisture from collecting in the room, both of which can make the drying process faster.
Place Near A Window
Find a spot near a window that lets light into the room. This will help your wet clothes get some sun, as well as airflow when the window is open.
Get Rid Of Extra Water
It takes longer if your clothes are dripping wet. Let the water drip away from your clothes in the bathroom itself, and wring out the water from your clothes before laying them out to dry. For lingerie, instead of wringing it out, you can give your bras or briefs a quick spin in your salad spinner. This will get rid of all the extra water without damaging your delicates.
Spread Your Clothes Out
When you lay out your clothes to dry, make sure you spread them out. Bunching your clothes up or laying them on top of each other will make drying take longer. But when you spread your clothes out, you let them get as much air as possible. A fan on high speed is a bonus!
Get Rid Of Moisture
It can get really humid on rainy days. Add to that wet clothes drying indoors, and you’ve got extra moisture in your room, which keeps your clothes wet for longer. Air purifier bags, bags of unrefined salt and dehumidifiers are great to get rid of that extra moisture in the room, giving your clothes a fresh, dry environment to dry in.
