An estimated 92 million tonnes of textile waste is produced globally every year, as reported by BBC. By the year 2030, an estimated 134 million tonnes of textile waste will be discarded every year. Finding solutions to the mammoth problem are homegrown brands like Punah: that specialise in garment upcycling.
