In the latest Her Circle Bizruptors feature, Divya Kamerkar, the CEO and co-founder at Pinky Promise takes us through the digital venture that aims to fulfil women’s gynaecological needs.
What started with a personal problem of facing a lack of gynaecological guidance during her first pregnancy grew into a digital enterprise that lets women find solutions to gynaecological problems and burning questions women may need answered quickly.
Pinky Promise is India's first AI-enabled digital clinic for women, where women can talk to a doctor at any time of the day and get a prescription in minutes. AI works to assist the doctor in making sure all questions are asked, formulating the prescription or providing draft responses to follow-up queries to ensure the doctors are always available.
According to the co-founder, the biggest USP of Pinky Promise lies in their softer approach to healthcare for women by moving away from cold and clinical models to a space that is non-judgmental and easy to navigate. Their newly launched and tech-enabled clinic promises to carry the same values while providing gynaecological medical guidance to all patients.
The conversation concludes with a touching story about one of Pinky Promise’s earliest success stories, where a woman who spent nearly a decade seeking answers for severe period pain receiveed a diagnosis and treatment through the platform. Months later, the team received a photograph of a positive pregnancy test and a message celebrating a ‘Pinky Promise baby,’ a reminder of the life-changing impact that accessible, empathetic healthcare can have.
‘Good care results in so many awesome things,’ she tell us.
