This weekend, sisterhood takes centre stage in Mumbai. Sonic Tigress, India’s first all-women music festival, is all set to bring together a community where fun, freedom, and female power collide. What makes Sonic Tigress historic isn’t just its stellar line-up; it’s the fact that every single part of it is run by women, from performers to sound engineers, from stage crew to security, and even the audience. This is a festival designed to reclaim space for women, on and off stage.

A Festival Where Women Lead Every Note
Sonic Tigress is not your typical music event. It’s a full-blown cultural experience crafted around the idea of women creating and owning joy, expression, and energy.
This all-women festival weaves together music, comedy, art, fitness, and immersive experiences, creating a safe, electric space where women can let loose and roar without restraint.
The Lineup and Unique Experiences

From hip-hop and jazz to Bollywood and techno, the festival celebrates the incredible diversity of women’s talent in India’s music scene. Expect performances by:
DJ Binni: Setting the dance floor on fire with her Bollywood-meets-EDM sets.
Raashi Dhamdhere: Multilingual hip-hop artist reshaping India’s rap culture.
Zian B: A jazz singer-songwriter with international soul.
Mayurpankhi Chetia: Her Assamese and Hindi vocals evoke raw emotion.
The energy extends beyond the stage, too, with national medalist skateboarders Shraddha Jayashree and Siddhi Thakkar, and boxer-entrepreneur Ravindra Gaikwad, who embody the festival’s theme of strength and defiance.
The event’s Scream Meter Challenge invites women to roar their loudest for a chance to win free tickets, while a Curated Flea Market brings together local artisans, glow-in-the-dark tattoos, and live art for a vibrant festival vibe. To top it off, fans can take home a piece of the festival’s fierce spirit with exclusive merchandise, including the limited-edition Stripe Bag, designed to embody the energy and empowerment of every Tigress.
The Movement Before the Music
The festival’s prelude, ‘Stripes of Glory’ at Soho House Mumbai, paid homage to Machali, the legendary Ranthambore tigress, through conversations with women who embody resilience and leadership. Conservationist Dr Latika Nath, Malini Agarwal, Aditi Dugar, Saloni Anand, and Naina Parekh shared their stories of power, legacy, and womanhood, setting the tone for what Sonic Tigress stands for: women owning their narrative.
Sonic Tigress is helping create a women-first ecosystem by challenging the norms of India’s festival landscape and opening the stage for more inclusive futures.
Catch the action at Mirage, Santacruz (W), Mumbai, on October 11, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
