The StrongHER Guide to Women’s Wellness with Anshuka Parwani

Iona Chatterjee|Dec 30, 2025

Yoga, Anshuka insists, has never been about bending down to touch your toes. “It’s about the journey of going towards your toes,” she explains. As a key voice in The StrongHER Movement and the founder of Anshuka Yoga, she highlights how wellness for women cannot be boxed into rigid definitions. It’s not about perfect, but presence.

In this exclusive interview with Her Circle, yoga and wellness expert, Anshuka Parwani explains the significance of wellness for women. It’s the sunshine you step into each morning, the glass of water you sip with awareness, the boundaries you set with your time. A yoga mat, kept simple and undisturbed, can become a sanctuary if you choose to honour it with intention. Just ten minutes of keeping the phone aside, sitting with your breath, or lying in stillness can nourishing.

The StrongHER Movement is about reminding women that presence is power. Follow Anshuka’s quick and easy daily routine for a healthier life

  • Start the day with small rituals: legs up on the wall for a few minutes, gentle twists for your spine, or simply listening to your breath in silence.

  • For hormonal balance, practices like nadi shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) or the butterfly pose bring quiet strength back to the body. For posture and long desk hours, heart openers and core strength can hold you up when the world feels heavy.

  • Evenings, too, can be rituals of care. Staying away from screens, winding down with herbal tea, or practicing bhramari pranayama, the bee-humming breath will help the body shift from stress into rest.

  • Wellness is about creating space for breath, for balance, and for yourself. And that, at its heart, is what being StrongHER truly signifies.
