The Her Circle EveryBODY Project – Zainika Jagasia

A body-positive movement where we include all irrespective of weight, body shape, size, height, physical ability, neurodiversity, skin colour, skin texture, and gender orientation. The Her Circle EveryBody Project centres around acceptable, sisterhood, and solidarity - a step towards normalising the reality of being human in all its glorious imperfections. In our October edition, we feature Down Syndrome model and baker, Zainika Jagasia.

In this heartwarming interview, we had the privilege to sit down with Zainika Jagasia, a remarkable 20-year-old model and baker who is defying expectations and celebrating her journey of self-discovery. Zainika's story is a testament to the power of determination, self-confidence, and unwavering conviction.

Growing up with Down syndrome presented its unique set of challenges for Zainika. However, she emphasises the importance of self-confidence and conviction in overcoming those obstacles. Zainika's story is a reminder that with unwavering belief in oneself and the support of a loving family, anyone can achieve their dreams and inspire others along the way.

Zainika's journey into the world of modeling began as a fascination with the process of getting ready for shoots and the thrill of being in front of the camera. Her radiant smile and confidence quickly caught the attention of the industry, challenging stereotypes and redefining beauty standards. Zainika reminds us that beauty truly knows no bounds, and self-expression is a universal language.

But Zainika's talents don't stop at modeling. She's also a key player in the success of Homebred, a bakery venture initiated by her sister, Gitika. Over the years, Zainika has grown into her role at the bakery, showcasing her dedication and ability to handle the business with grace and precision. Her journey at Homebred stands as a shining example of determination and the pursuit of one's passion, regardless of any challenges.
