Building India’s First Ethically Made Menstrual Hygiene Brand: Janvi Tiwari

Some brands sell their sustainable period products swathed in plastic and then there are brands like SOQO who are determined to make sure that our periods don’t add to the amount of waste generated every day. Janvi Tiwari’s journey began when she was unexpectedly taken away from her college in Pune, but she turned that event around to build a brand that is probably India’s first and only ethically-made period hygiene brand.

Over the last year and a half, Tiwari has worked relentlessly to make sure her brand is inclusive and environment–friendly. She was recently allowed to present her startup at Dubai Expo 2021. To know more about SOQO, watch the video!
