How To Decorate Your Dream Home According To Your Zodiac

Let’s be honest, there’s more to home décor than just your zodiac sign, however, you’ll be surprised to know just how much it influences your taste in these aspects. Let’s take a look at how each sign would decorate or amp up their space.

1. Aries

Taking a tour of every possible home décor store in your neighbourhood is not your thing. You rather just go in for DIY ideas to spruce up your house. Think mirrors with sea-shells, abstract art, hand-painted quirky cushions et all.

2. Taurus

Being an earth sign, you are drawn to all things elegant, be it the furniture of your house, or the décor of your bathroom. You are likely to plan each corner. For instance, when it comes to your living area, we imagine a comfortable sofa set, and the basic functional pieces such as the centre tables, side tables, and rugs chosen after careful consideration.

3. Gemini

Go big or go home—that’s your mantra. We see furniture, paintings, and accessories featuring adventurous colours and patterns in your home. You take your downtime seriously, so you will most likely allocate ample space for any activity you might want to do at home.

4. Cancer

Home is where the heart is, and for you, heartwarming is nature. Be it the balcony, living room, bedroom, or the entrance, your space is replete with plants, for that gives you a sense of calm, a crucial aspect of your lifestyle.

5. Leo

Leos are on the lookout for all things unconventional. You browse through latest trends, and are likely to pick the most off-beat option as far as décor is concerned. Your home is most likely to exude vibrancy, and guests are all praise. You love that, don’t you?

6. Virgo

Décor speaks volumes of one’s personality and you are drawn towards that old-world charm. One will find antiques, famous painters, and painstakingly sourced cutlery. Ideally, the walls of the house would be subtle so as to let the accessories do the talking.

7. Libra

You enjoy being the host, thus, every piece of décor is chosen and placed keeping your guests’ comfort in mind. You stay away from crowding your home with furniture, and believe in making maximum use of space. Thus, it’s likely that most pieces of furniture have the facility of storage.

8. Scorpio

Your home reflects the crux of your personality—mysterious. We imagine, a bold (ideally darker) colour on the wall and teak furniture to complement it. We wouldn’t be surprised if one wall of your study area is dedicated to just books. Are you hiding a secret room behind it? Guess, we’ll never know.

9. Sagittarius

Personalising your house means a lot to you. Which is why, every room is bound to feature an aspect that has a story behind it. They could range from family photos to a find at a local boutique when you travelled halfway across the globe.

10. Capricorn

You hold pragmatism in high regard, so minimalism is the way for you. Your house will have a lot of open space, since you believe the lesser the clutter, the more inviting your space is. And why waste resources?

11. Aquarius

Hi there, you tech lover. You like to decorate your house keeping up with the times. Remote-controlled doors, check. Solar panels, check. Voice sensing devises, check. The point being, keep it simple but keep it tech savvy.

12. Pisces

Pisceans are homebodies. It doesn’t come as a surprise then that they take their space very seriously. You are not trying to prove a point, so you don’t have a set theme running across your house, but one thing’s for certain, you’ve got to have lots of cushions everywhere.
